Best Use of Honey & Cinnamon

It is found that mixture of Honey and Cinnamon cures most of the diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Ayurvedic as well as Yunani medicine have been using honey as a vital medicine for centuries. Scientists of today also accept honey as a Ram Ban (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases. Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients also. A famous magazine named Weekly World News published in Canada dated 17 January, 95 has given a list of diseases that can be cured by Honey and Cinnamon as researched by western scientists. The list is show below:

1. ARTHRITIS:
Take one part honey to two parts of luke warm water and add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder, make a paste and massage it on the itching part of the body slowly. It is noticed that the pain recedes within a minute or two. Or arthritis patients may daily, morning and night take one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If drunk regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research done at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon cinnamon powder before breakfast. They found that within a week out of the 200 people so treated practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain and within a month. Mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
2. HAIR LOSS:
Those suffering from hair loss or baldness, may apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before bath and keep it for approx. 15 min. and then wash the hair. It was found very effective if kept for 5 mins. also.
3. BLADDER INFECTIONS:
Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of luke warm water and drink it. It destroys the germs of the bladder.
4. TOOTHACHE:
Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be done 3 times a day daily till such time that the tooth has stopped aching.
4. CHOLESTEROL:
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, if given to a cholesterol patient, it reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10% within 2 hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken 3 times a day any chronic cholesterol is cured. As per the information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complains of cholesterol.
5. COLDS:
Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon luke warm honey with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder daily for 3 days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold and clear the sinuses.
6. INFERTILITY:
Yunani and Ayurvedic have been using honey for years in medicine to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before sleeping, their problem will be solved. In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women who do not conceive and to strengthen the uterus have been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. Women who cannot conceive may take a pinch of cinnamon powder in half teaspoon of honey and apply it on the gums frequently throughout the day, so that it slowly mixes with the saliva and enters the body. A couple in Maryland, America had no children for 14 years and had left hope of having a child of their own. When told about this process husband and wife started taking honey and cinnamon as stated above, the wife conceived after a few months and had twins at full term.
7. UPSET STOMACH:
Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomachache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.
8. GAS:
According to the studies done in India & Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

CAUSES OF CANCER

The number ONE killer in Singapore is cancer (followed by Heart Disease & Stroke). Not all cancers are the same. 1/3 is curable. 1/3 is preventable. 2 factors of cancer that cannot be controlled are AGE & FAMILY HISTORY.
Causes of cancer:-
1. Smoking is very often the main cause of cancer. It kills us silently and drains money from us quietly. There're 4,000 harmful chemicals (though in diluted form) in one stick of cigarette. Taking one puff is 600 times worst than inhaling the exhaust fumes from vehicles.
2. Some food that cause cancer are:
  • Barbecued Food
  • Deep Fried Food
  • Overheating Meat
  • Food that is high in fat causes our bile to secrete acid that contains a chemical which is a promoter of cancer cells.
  • Food that contains preservatives, too much salt or nitrates (e.g. Canned food, Salted egg & veggies, sausages, etc.)
  • Overnight Rice (where Aflatoxin is accumulated)
  • Food that is low in fibre: Our body needs 25 gm of both soluble & insoluble fibre daily. We must drink at least 1.5 litres of plain water a day.
  • Contaminated Food (e.g. moulded bread causes our body to secrete toxins that may eventually lead to liver cancer in the long run. Never eat bread that is kept in room temperature for more than 2 days especially in a humid weather like Singapore's.

3. Types of fat and which is the best?

Highly Recommended for Health:-

  • Olive Oil - The best of all oils. It does not absorb in our body
  • Fish Oil - Omega 3 (contained in NI's Circulytes) haspoly-unsaturated fat. It's good for our brain cells
  • Peanut Oil - It contains Vitamin E. A small dosage is recommended only.

Not Recommended for Health

  • Vegetable Fat - Palm oil is worst than coconut oil. It is high in cholesterol and highly unsaturated.
  • Coconut Oil - It has saturated fat.

4. Specific Food & Beverages

  • Egg when eaten too much can cause High Colon Cancer. Risk Ovary Cancer, Prostate Cancer.
  • Cabbage is highly recommended for health reason.
  • Tomato is best eaten raw with a bit of olive oil for better absorption. Other alternative is to take tomato sauce.
  • Coffee is good because it contains 2 anti-oxidants. Inhaling the coffee aroma for half each day is equivalent to eating two oranges a day. However, the residue of over-burned coffee is extremely bad for health. It can cause cancer.
  • Tea, as long as it is in its original tea leaves and not processed into BOH or Lipton packets, it is good for health. Tea contains 30 anti-oxidants. Recommended dosage is 4 cups a day.

4) To loosen a rusted bolt

5) To remove grease from clothes

  • Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle.

Coke & Pepsi ALARMING FACTS!!!

The average pH of soft drinks, e.g. Coke, Pepsi is pH 3.4. This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones! Our human body stops building bones at around the age of 30. After that it'll be dissolving about 8-18% of the bones each year through the urine, depending on the acidity of the food intake (acidity does not depend on the taste of the food, but on the ratio of potassium / calcium / magnesium / etc. to phosphorus). All the dissolved calcium compounds accumulate in the arteries, veins, skin tissue, and organs. This affects the functioning of the kidney (kidney stones). Soft drinks do not have any nutritional value (in terms of vitamins and minerals). They have higher sugar content, higher acidity, and more additives such as preservatives and colourings. Some people like to take cold soft drinks after each meal, guess what's the impact? Our body has an optimum temperature of 37 degrees for the functioning of digestive enzymes. The temperature of cold soft drinks is much less than 37, sometimes quite close to 0. This will lower the effectiveness of the enzymes and put stress on the digestive system, digesting less food. In fact the food gets fermented. आप जीवन के अस्तित्व और सुख की चाह को तो स्वीकार करते ही हैं, क्योंकि उनका प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव आपको होता है। पुनर्जन्म आदि के कुछ सिद्धांत तो विवादास्पद हो सकते हैं, वे सर्वमान्य नहीं है, किंतु वर्तमान को सुखमय बनाने की मनुष्य की लालसा एवं क्षमता तो निर्विवाद है। सर्वप्रथम चिन्तन और अवधारणा की इकाइयों के रूप में परस्पर जुड़ी हुई लगभग दस-बारह अरब कोशिकाओं से युक्त अत्यन्त संवेदनशील मानव-मस्तिष्क को व्यर्थ बोझ और तनाव से मुक्त रखने के उपाय करना अत्यन्त आवश्यक है। प्रत्येक मस्तिष्क-कोशिका (न्यूरोन) तंत्रिका निकाय नर्वस सिस्टम की एक अत्यन्त सूक्ष्म इकाई होती है जो जटिलताओं के कारण विराटतम संकलक (कम्प्यूटर) की अपेक्षा भी अनन्तगुणा विलक्षणा होती है। कोई भी दो न्यूरोन समान नहीं होते हैं तथा प्रत्येक न्यूरोन में लगभग दो करोड़ आर० एन० ए० अणु होते हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक जीव रसायन के चमत्कार से एक लाख प्रकार के प्रोटीन बना सकता है। चिन्ता और भय मानव के असीम शक्तिसम्पन्न मस्तिष्क को, अनावश्यक बोझ डालकर, सतत क्षीण बनाते रहते हैं। आज की सभ्यता इस दिशा में मानव के लिए एक अभिशाप बन गयी है। यदि आप निश्चय कर लें कि आपको चिंता एवं भय से मुक्त होकर सुखी रहना है तो आपका जीवन सुखमय हो जायगा। आप विश्वास करें कि प्रकृति के सबसे बड़े चमत्कार, मानव-मस्तिष्क , में समस्याओं को चुनौती देने और संकटो से जूझने की अद्भुत क्षमता है, किंतु आपका संकल्प करना आवश्यक है। अतः आप आज ही और अभी वज्र संकल्प कर लें कि आपको सदा सुखी होना है और आप निश्चित रूप से सुखी हो सकते हैं। बस, अपने विचारों एवं सोचने के तरीकों में परिवर्तन लाने तथा जीवन के प्रति दृष्टिकोण को बदल डालने की आवश्यकता है। धैर्य से काम लें और इस संकल्प को पूरा करके छोड़ें। 'कारज धीरे होत है काहे होत अधीर। समय पाय तरुवर फरै, केतिक सींचौ नीर।' धैर्य रखो। धैर्य की महिमा अनन्त हैं। धैर्य के साथ विश्वास एवं आशा को भी दृढञ रखना सीखें। धैर्य धारण करना कठिन होता है, किंतु उसके फल मीठे होते हैं।
जीवन का सार और सुख का रहस्य दो आँसुओं में निहित हैं-दूसरों के गम के आँसू पोंछकर प्रसन्नता का एक आँसू अर्जित करना तथा दूसरा आँसू एकांत में भाव-विभोर होकर प्रभु के प्रति कृतज्ञतापूर्वक बहाना कि उसने आपको सेवा करने का अवसर तथा उसके लिए क्षमता प्रदान की। बस, इतना ही समस्त धर्मों का संदेश हैं।
आज 'प्रोग्रेसिव' के नाम पर ईश्वरतत्व को नकारना एक फैशन हो गया है। ज्यों-ज्यों भौतिक प्रगति हो रही है, मानव की मानवता विलुप्त होती जा रही है। कलह और अशांति व्यापक रोग की भाँति फैलते जा रहे हैं। अतएव आध्यात्मिकता की आवश्यकता बढ़ती जा रही है। अशांति का उपाय आध्यात्मिकता है। धर्मों के नाम पर परस्पर घृणा का प्रचार करनेवाले तथा युद्ध भड़कानेवाले धर्म के तत्व एवं उद्देश्य को नहीं समझते हैं। संत किसी एक धर्म के खूंटे से नहीं बँधते हैं और सत्य का सत्कार करते हैं, वह चाहे जहाँ भी प्राप्त हो। एक सच्चा मानव मंदिर, गिरजा, गुरुद्वारा, मस्जिद को समान रुप से पवित्र मानता है तथा उसे अनेक मार्गों (धर्मों) के द्वारा प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। अपनी व्यक्तिगत अनुभूति के आधार पर ईश्वरतत्व को पहचानना तथा अपने स्वभाव के अनुसार उसके साथ एक व्यक्तिगत नाता स्थापित करना ईश्वर-प्राप्ति का श्रेष्ठ मार्ग है। देश, भाषा और ग्रंथ में बाह्य पवित्रता खोजनेवाले लोग जरा आन्तरिक भावनाओं की पवित्रता का भी तो महत्व समझें। ईश्वर का संबंध भावना से ही है, भाषा आदि से नहीं। धर्म के नाम पर घृणा-प्रचार एक हास्यास्पद विडम्बना है।
ईश्वर सच्चिदानन्द है, असीम शक्ति का भंडार है। ईश्वर हमारे लिए एक अनन्त एवं अक्षय शक्तिस्रोत है। यदि आपका आत्मविश्वास विलुप्त हो चुका है, आप प्रभु भक्ति के द्वारा उसे पुनः प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। भावपूर्ण प्रार्थना करना एक विचित्र संबल देता है। हम मंत्रबल को भी विस्मृत कर चुके हैं। मंत्रजप से अद्भुत शक्तियाँ जाग जाती हैं। दो-चार दिन श्रद्धापूर्वक एक मंत्र का जप करके ही हमें इसका अनुभव हो सकता है। मन्त्रजप के सहारे सारी भीतरी कुण्ठाएं परिसमाप्त हो सकती हैं तथा नूतन शक्तियों का प्रादुर्भाव हो सकता है। खेद, हम ईश्वरीय शक्तियों को भुला बैठे हैं। जरा मन के द्वार खोलें ! शक्ति का एक असीम, अथाह भण्डार हमारे भीतर सुरक्षित हैं। हमें उससे संबंध जोड़ने की आवश्यकता है। सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वर असीम शक्ति का अक्षय स्रोत हैं। हमें प्रभु की दयामयता में दृढ़ आस्था रखनी चाहिए। प्रभु की सजीव उपस्थिति को अपने चारों ओर देखना और अनुभव करना चाहिए। ईश्वरीय शक्ति में आस्था रखना कठिन हैं, किंतु उसके लाभ अकल्पनीय होते हैं। हम उसके साथ संबंध जोड़कर शक्ति एवं शान्ति पाने के अधिकारी हैं। पिता की विरासत पुत्रों को सुलभ हो सकती है ; किंतु हम नाता तो जोड़ें।
जीवन में पल-पल नव-निर्माण हो रहा है। उत्साह की तरंगों से मन को तरंगित एवं आप्लावित कर दें। निराशा हमारे स्वभाव का अंग नहीं है, विजातीय हैं। निराशा को भगाओ, आशा को जगाओ, आज और अभी जगाओ। जीवन का यही संदेश है। हमारे मन में कोई पुकार-पुकार कह रहा है कि मानव को जीवन सुख से रहने के लिए मिला है, सुख मानव का जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार है। यह सृष्टि सुखप्रधान हैं, दुःखप्रधान नहीं है और मानव न केवल स्वभाव से सुख चाहता है, वह सुख पाने में सक्षम भी है। सुखवृत्ति को ठीक प्रकार से जगाकर मनुष्य खोये हुए सुख को पुनः पा सकता है।
जीवन एक सुनहला वरदान है। मानव को स्वस्थ एवं सुखी रहने के लिए ही वह स्वर्णिम अवसर मिला है। जीवन से बढ़कर अधिक मूल्यवान् कुछ भी नहीं है। यदि आपका सारा धन लूट गया और जीवन शेष बचा है तो कुछ भी नहीं लूटा और सब कुछ शेष रह गया। जीवन का महत्व समझना चाहिए। जीवन में रुचि लेना आद्य एवं सर्वप्रथम आवश्यकता है। धर्म, कर्म, ज्ञान, योग, भोग, त्याग, मुक्ति इत्यादि सब कुछ बाद में है। जो जीवन में रुचि नहीं लेता है, उसे जीने का अधिकार नहीं हैं तथा वह तो जिन्दगी के बोझ ढोनेवाला दयनीय पशु है। अपने जीवन को जैसा भी है, स्वीकार कर लेना चाहिए तथा अपनी परिस्थितियों को कोसकर अपने लिए नरक बना लेना नासमझी है। जीवन का पुजारी अवश्य ही सुख को प्राप्त कर लेता है। जीवेष्णा (जीने की इच्छा) निराशा को दूर करने के लिए महौषधि होती है। जीवन के सौंदर्य एवं आकर्षण को न जाननेवाले मूढ़जन जीवन से ऊब जाते हैं। अधिक-से-अधिक लोगों के लिए, विशेषतः अधिक-से-अधिक दीन-दुःखी जन के लिए, अधिक-से-अधिक उपयोगी बनने पर आपके जीवन में एक विचित्र माधुर्य उत्पन्न हो जायगा और आपका जीवन एक मधुर संगीत बन जायगा। जीवन की सरगम पर कोई बेसुरा राग न अलापें, एक मधुर संगीत गायें। मानव भ्रांत विचारों तथा मूर्खतापूर्ण कर्मों के कारण इधर-उधर भटकता ही रहता है। ईश्वरतत्व हमें सुख का रास्ता दिखा रहा है, किंतु हम तो जान-बूझकर आँखें बंद किये हुए बैठे हैं। धरती को स्वर्ग बनाने के प्रयत्न द्वारा ईश्वर को प्राप्त करो। उठो, जागो, आगे बढ़ो !
अनेक बार मनुष्य धन, बल इत्यादि के अभाव पर तथा अपने दुर्गुणों पर अनावश्यक ध्यान देने के लिए पतनकारक हीनभावना से ग्रस्त हो जाता है, किंतु आत्मसम्मान को जगाकर वह उससे भी अवश्य मुक्त हो सकता है। जीवन में कुछ अभावों के कारण अपने को हीन तथा दुर्गुणों के कारण अपने को निकृष्ट मान बैठना अविवेक हैं, अपने साथ शत्रुता करना है, अपना दम घोंटना है। हममें कुछ गुण भी तो हैं, उन्हें अनदेखा क्यों कर दें ? हम अपनी सत्ता को नकारकर अपनी ही हानि क्यों कर लें ?आत्मसम्मान को जगाकर मनुष्य निश्चय ही अपनी समस्त हीनता पर विजय पा सकता है। वास्तव में आत्मसम्मान आत्मविश्वास का जनक होता है तथा आत्मसम्मान के साथ आत्मविश्वास भी जाग जाता है। आत्मसम्मान एवं आत्मविश्वास के बिना मनुष्य दयनीय तथा उनसे युक्त होकर सर्वसमर्थ हो जाता है। आत्मसम्मान एवं आत्मविश्वास से ही मनुष्य को मनुष्य की प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त होती है। आत्मसम्मान का भाव मनुष्य में सदगुणों का प्रेरक तथा दुर्गुणों का प्रभावी नियन्त्रक होता है। सणों के विकास द्वारा ही मनुष्य दुर्गुणों पर विजय पा सकता है।
वास्तव में प्रत्येक मनुष्य में महानता की अनन्त सम्भावनाएँ छिपी पड़ी हैं। किंतु मनुष्य को अपनी महत्ता पहचानकर उसके अनुरुप चिन्तन और कर्म भी तो करना चाहिए। कोई मनुष्य किसी एक दिशा में महान् हो सकता है तो कोई अन्य मनुष्य किसी दूसरी दिशा में आगे बढ़ सकता है। जिस मनुष्य के पास जो कुछ गुण या शाक्ति है, वह उसी को लेकर ऊँचा उठे। तभी उसकी सफलता और सार्थकता है। अनन्त शाक्तिमान् परमेश्वर का अंशभूत होने के कारण मनुष्य में अनन्त शक्तियों का भण्डार भरा पड़ा है तथा उसमें अनन्त उन्नति की सम्भावनाएं छिपी हुई हैं। अपनी निधि को बिना पहचाने तो राजा भी रंक ही है। मनुष्य अपनी अगणित प्रसुप्त शक्तियों को भूलकर दयनीय और उन्हें जगाकर समर्थ हो जाता है। अपनी शाक्तियों पर भरोसा करने की आवश्यकता है, उनके सदुपयोग करने और संकल्प लेने की आवश्यकता है, उत्तम लक्ष्यों की ओर चल पड़ने की आवश्यकता है, दृढ़ता और धैर्य की आवश्यकता है, आत्मविश्वास की आवश्यकता है। मनुष्य को कभी-कभी एकान्त में बैठकर आत्मविश्वास को जगाने का अभ्यास करना चाहिए और पग-पग पर सँभलने का निश्चय करना चाहिए। मनुष्य आत्मविश्वास को जगाकर ही संकटों को पार करता हुआ आगे बढ़ सकता है, ऊँचे उठ सकता है और महान् बन सकता है। आत्मविश्वास का अर्थ हैं अपनी समस्याओं को समझने और उनका समाधान करने की अपनी सामर्थ्य में विश्वास होना। मनुष्य विवेक के सहारे अपने विलुप्त आत्मविश्वास को जगा सकता है।
हमारे विचारों, आशाओं, निराशाओं, भय, घृणा, क्रोध आदि मनोवेगों का प्रभाव हमारे शरीर के अंग-प्रत्यंग पर पड़ रहा है, हमारे स्वास्थ्य और मनोदशा पर पड़ रहा है, शरीर की एक-एक कोशिश (सेल) पर पड़ रहा है ; हृदय और मस्तिष्क पर पड़ रहा है, रक्त पर पड़ रहा है, स्नायुतंत्र (नर्वस-सिस्टम) पर पड़ रहा है। हमारे विचारों का प्रभाव हमारे व्यक्तित्व में झलक रहा है। जितनी बार भी हम चिंता से घबरा उठते हैं अथवा उत्तेजित होकर व्यर्थ ही घृणापूर्ण क्रोध में भड़क उठते हैं, उतनी बार हम मानों अपने ही शरीर में, मस्तिष्क से तथा प्रत्येक सेल से ही लड़ बैठते हैं। प्रत्येक चिन्ता और भय हमारे मन और स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा प्रभाव छोड़कर जाते हैं। चिंता और भय हमारे स्नायु-तंत्र में कम्पन तथा रक्त में एक विषैला तत्व उत्पन्न कर देते हैं जो हमें जर्जर कर देते हैं। मानसिक तनाव से बृहदांत्र शोथ (कोलाइटिस), उदरव्रण, सिरदर्द, कमरदर्द, हृदयघात आदि महारोग उत्पन्न हो जाते हैं। मानसिक तनाव का उपाय आत्मविश्वास ही तो है। आत्मविश्वास जगाकर आगे बढ़ें। सब लोग आत्मविश्वास से ही आगे बढ़ते हैं अतएव किसी व्यक्ति का खोया हुआ आत्मविश्वास लौटा देना उसकी सबसे बड़ी सेवा एवं सहायता है। हताश होना अथवा हताश करना अक्षम्य अपराध है। जहाँ आत्मविश्वास है तथा प्रभु पर विश्वास है, वहाँ चिन्ता और भय न रह सकेंगे। भक्तिभाव से ओत-प्रोत होकर कबीर कहते हैं:
उस समरथ को दास हौं, कदै न होय अकाज।
पतिबरता नांगी रहै, वाही पुरुस को लाज।।
ईश्वरभक्त का विश्वास है कि उसका अकाज नहीं हो सकता है, क्योंकि ईश्वर सर्वसमर्थ है, किंतु यदि कुछ हानि हो भी जाय तो वह ईश्वर का ही प्रसाद है। ईश्वर-विश्वास के प्रकाश में चिंता का अन्धकार लुप्त हो जाता है।
